Wendy Taylor

Wendy Taylor is an experienced litigation associate with a strong background in insurance defense and complex business litigation. While in law school she published a comment for The Transnational Lawyer in which she compared a new product liability law in Japan with the product liability laws in the United States and Europe. She later was an editor of the same publication. After graduating with distinction from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1997, she spent her first year as a lawyer clerking for the Hon. Jefferson L. Lankford on the Arizona Court of Appeals.

Since her return to Sacramento in 1998, Ms. Taylor’s practice has focused primarily on the defense of legal professionals. In addition, she has litigated civil appeals, contract disputes, environmental contamination cases, and she also spent some time lobbying on behalf of criminal defense lawyers and their clients. At Freidberg & Parker, she is one of our defense attorneys in complex business matters.

Ms. Taylor is admitted to practice in all California courts, as well as in the Eastern and Northern Districts of the United States District Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the State Bar of California, and has been a member of the Sacramento County Bar Association, the Association of Defense Counsel (Northern California), and Women Lawyers of Sacramento. She is listed in Strathmore’s Who’s Who (2002-2003) for her leadership and achievement in her profession.
